Turbo Blanket for Renault Megane Mk2 & Mk3 R.S
The Forge Motorsport FMTUBL15 has been designed specifically for the Renault Megane Mk2 & Mk3Ā R.S rangeĀ stock turbo chargers. This turbo blanket replaces the primitive OE heat shield and is designedĀ to furtherĀ isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger.Ā The Forge turbo blanket also incorporates further protection to the engines down pipe.Ā
This design has been created to withstand the harshest of environments and proven to withstand temperatures up to 1370Ā°CĀ (2500Ā°F)Ā of radiant heat, which will assist in protectingĀ and prolonging the life of engine components.
Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path which helps reduce turbo lag and air intake temperatures resulting in more power.
